The Language of Work Proforma is the behavioral definition of work as devised by Danny Langdon, the creator of the Language of Work Model™. It serves as the basis for all applications of the Language of Work Model in the business world. As one of those applications, Job Models are defined in terms of the six behavioral elements that comprise work. These six interrelated elements of the proforma are:

Using the “Proforma”, a job model graphically specifies :
- What Inputs the worker will use
- The Conditions of work to adhere to
- A series of Process Steps to follow
- Communication sources of Feedback
- To produce each Output and its related Consequences.
