Job Modeling Steps

  1. You identify the job(s) to be modeled
  2. We jointly arrange a time for the on-line meeting
  3. You determine who knows the most about the job
    • you, and/or other supervisors
    • your HR person
    • job holders themselves
    • someone from the outside
  4. You click on the PayPal link and make payment
  5. You download the Go-to-Meeting link we send
  6. You have participants meet together or at their own computers — either way. Each person signs in.
  7. We will give an overview of the modeling process using our “10-Minute Teach”
  8. Our facilitator will ask questions in a prescribed order to defining the job
  9. You and the team will answer the questions we pose. We help get consensus.
  10. We will enter your answers on-line: you’ll see the job model shaping up before your eyes
  11. We electronically send you the finished job model and instructions on any follow-up, if any
  12. You receive the Guide To Using Job Models in Your Company
